The room was extremely spacious with great amenities including a good sized balcony with excellent views over the sea. It was modern, cool and very comfortable. Staff are always friendly and helpful without being overly fussy and obsequious which can be a thing in The States. Complimentary coffee available first thing in the morning is a nice touch and the restaurant and patio served good food and drinks , again with view over the ocean and great service. A proper 5 star hotel but without appearing to try too hard which is always the real acid test with hotels at this level.

Maggie is so genuine,Scott so personable and Richard they both never forget who you are and always remember your favorite drink. Maurizio always keeps my favorite rum on hand and he so pleasant to talk to. All the valet guys and bellmen are amazing. I cant stop bragging about the staff to my friends.Now they want to come.

The customer service was excellent especially Chris our morning server. he was thorough with the menu and how it was prepared very accommodating. Chris Set us up for dinner as well. He was from Buffalo as well close to Rochester. He was very informative about the area and suggestions.

Everything was as expected for a hotel in this price-category. From the room to the food to the whole experience. Really worth paying the extra money, although we spend only 1 night, wishing we stayed longer there. The food the took was delicious (dining and breakfast)
